22nd August - great news from Shirley Cooper- her bitch Phoenix (Deifstock Decadant), sired by Vice , has a hip score of 3:4 - more hip scores from this litter to follow .

21st August - Deifstock Decadant (Phoenix) wins Junior Bitch at Welsh Kennel Champ Show under breed judge Penny Pickstone. Her litter sister (Deifstock Devilish at Wipfel) Lola came 2nd. Well done to you both

24th July - Just got back from a great day again at the GSPA Working Test in Leicester. Both Vice and Max were entered. Vice did very well today and Tony was well pleased with him although he didn`t get in the cards. However, the star of the day again was Max gaining a 2nd in Puppy (13 puppies entered) Well done to Brendan and of course Max - you`re brilliant!!!! This was Max`s last Working Test in puppy and his next W.T. is in September and he will be entered in Novice.

11th July - We celebrated our Maddie`s birthday today. She is 11 years old and is in excellent health. You can see her on Our Dogs page.(Wipfel Vashti) She still enjoys her walks in the forest and spent the day relaxing in the July sunshine with her daughter and grandson.

9th July - Had a brilliant day today and somthing to celebrate again. Vice and Max were both entered at the HPRBA Working Test at Cosby. Although Vice didn`t get in the cards Max (Grandahay Blue Topaz Tommy) got 1st in Puppy again at his 2nd Working Test. The judge was Richard Chellumbrum. This time he was handled by his owner Brendan who was over the moon with his achievement. His points were 95 1/2 out of 100. Brilliant!!!!

5th June - Melton Mowbray Open Show today - Max was entered (Grandahay Blue Topaz Tommy) He won Grad. and then took BOB - the breed judge was Bryn Grant .Unfortunately because of family commitments we were unable to stay for the group

1st June - Great news from Amanda Lovejoy. 3 of the pups from the Grandahay litter sired by Vice, have brilliant hip scores of 2:2 2:2 and 3:3 More hip scores to come from this litter in the next few weeks

Also wonderful news from the Czech Republic. Two of the pups from the litter sired by Vice out of Elizabeth the Queen DOB. May 2010 have just finished their Czech junior championships. Congratulations to Dasa, the breeder, and to the pups` owners on this wonderful achievement

1st May - Tony handled Grandahay Blue Topaz Tommy (Max) bred by Amanda Lovejoy and owned by Brendan Price, at his debut Working Test and won puppy. Max is 14 months old and sired by my dog Wipfel Versace Vice. The W.T. was organised by Leicester Gundog and the judge was Lucie Hustler.

On the same day Ann handled Lola (Deifstock Devilish about Wipfel) at the W.A. Champ Show at Newark. Lola won Junior bitch then reserve in Yearling. The judge was Marion McAngus

23rd March - A really sad day today as we had to say goodbye to our lovely old lady Carrie (Wipfel Vallerina) Although Carrie was coming up to her 16th birthday it was still so sad to see her go - old age eventually caught up with her. She enjoyed life to the full, had never been ill in her life, and had great fun over the past 10 years running in Sherwood Forest with her canine family. She is now resting in Sherwood Forest, reunited with her Dam Lucy and her litter brother Kye.

19th March - Max (Grandahay Blue Topaz Tommy) was placed 2nd out of a class of seven at his first Show- West Torrington C.S. at Newark. Max is owned by Brendan and was handled by Ann

26th February - Some very sad news received from Izzy (Owner of Dishy Diplomat) AKA Zeus. Zeus passed away today after short illness. He was 10 years old and was a huge part of the Colls family but he has left a tremendous legacy in his progeny (I should know I have one of his daughter`s- Phoenix (Wipfel Va Va Voom) Anyone who was lucky enough to have one of his offspring were honoured especially if they were blessed with his fantastic temperament and nature. Zeus was not only just a loyal family pet but also a very successful show dog who used to thoroughly enjoy his time in the showring. Ivan (Izzy`s husband) says Zeus left a huge paw mark on all the lives he touched. Run free Zeus with all your pals - until we meet again - God bless

30th Jan 2011 - Lola (Deifstock Devilish about Wipfel) was awarded 1st in puppy

1st Junior and Best puppy in breed under breed specialist Kay Clarke and then went on to win the Gundog Puppy Group and the icing on the cake was BEST PUPPY IN SHOW AT Henley on Thames Canine Society Huge congratulations to Emma and of course Lola!!!!

4th June - On one of the hottest days of the year so far went to Southern Counties Champ Show. Vice won his Class, Limit Dog, and Lexi (Wipfel Vernisse via Achouffe) got 2nd in Open Bitch. Had a lovely picnic with Julie and then made a very slow journey home in the Friday night rush hour!!!)

29th May - Amanda`s bitch puppy out of Kagsmeg Strawberry BonBon has now got her new home
